Key Responsibilities: -Complete monthly China local book closing in China Accounting System based on China GAAP. -Ensure local book financial statement is timely generated out and comply with China GAAP with working closely with Costing group & other processes. -GAAP reconciliation between China book & US book. -Support annual statutory audit, E.G. accounting documents extraction; communicating with other processes to get audit supporting documents etc. -On monthly/quarterly basis, timely file statistical reporting with local financial and statistical bureau. -Others assigned by site controllers leader. Qualifications: Education, Working Experience and Certification Requirement(s):-Minimum Bachelor"s degree preferably in Accounting and good understanding of Accounting Policies & Standards. A qualified certified accountant like accounting certificate of intermediate level qualification(中级会计师) is helpful. -Minimum 3 years" accounting experience preferred in MNC companies. Knowledge of UserFriend system will be helpful. Knowledge and skills required for this job:-Be familiar with China accounting practices & principles. Understanding of difference between China & US GAP is helpful. -Strong communication and inter-personal skill to interact with various departments within the company as well as with government authorities. Fluent in both written & oral English.-Independent problem-solving ability and good negotiation ability.-High sense of responsibility & integrity and attention to detail and accuracy-Stick to the deadline for monthly closing & reporting incl. other tasks assigned.- http://www.dow.com
